I am an interaction designer and researcher based in Oslo. I started with building touch table, interactive RFID toys, and exploring processing and fiducials. Among my early projects, I developed Tiblo, a learning tool designed to assist children with dyslexia. In my work dealing with technology and physical spaces, I became interested in how people interact with the increasingly digitized physical world, and I was deeply influenced by Sherry Turkle's work.

After beginning my career as a UX Consultant in India, I transitioned to consulting on complex enterprise systems. The connection between research and practice motivated me to pursue Ph.D. at Oslo University. My doctoral studies focused on the role of design in sustainable digital services, primarily secondhand markets, utilizing service design and Research through Design (RtD) methodologies. It eventually led me to Otovo in 2020, a Norwegian solar scale-up. Now I lead a group of designers at Otovo AS.

I've always been intrigued by the possibilities that lie at the intersection of design and visualization of the future. I find the work of Near Future Lab and Dunne and Raby's speculative futures particularly fascinating. Aside from my academic and professional work, I've dabbled in speculative design in my own time.

In general, I am an impatient person who is an extremely patient interviewer and notes maker :) . I tend to think in workflows, stories, and sketches most of the time. I find my way through problems through making and remaking ideas. Design creates a favorable environment for everyday experiences. I thoroughly enjoy creating this space over and over again.
