A toolkit to drive high quality research
I created a research toolkit to help Otovo's product team conduct more effective in-depth interviews. It contained a guide to framing questions, a set of reference questions, and a one-hour workshop on framing interview questions. The interviewing kit was designed to help people without a design or research background, listen and participate more effectively during interviews. The toolkit gave team members just enough background to pick it up quickly. It included a simple guide to asking questions and general dos and don'ts. The toolkit also provided a list of reference questions.
IMPACT
The interview toolkit is part of the company's university program. The interview toolbox helps people get started in an in-depth interview by asking questions and listening.
Since then, almost all members of my team have conducted interviews with me and shared their findings independently.
